ACA Threads manufactures, imports and distributes sewing, technical and embroidery thread. We also offer yarn and thread dying services for the commercial weaving and knitting industries. At our factory we can do twisting, dying and winding. Having our own dyehouse enables us to support businesses who are geared to the fast fashion industry that requires quick turnaround times.
Monday - Thursday 8:00 - 17:00; Friday 8:00 - 15:00 and we are closed on Public holidays. We also close for a few weeks over Christmas and New Year in line with Textile Industry Bargaining Council terms.
Anyone can buy from ACA and you do not need an account. The minimum amount of information that we will require to process your order is a contact name, contact number and email address.
We sell boxes of 10 cops of 1000m Seralon and individual cones of 5000m Seralon since we cater for industrial and commercial customers. If a customer would like to purchase individual cops of 1000m thread they can likely find them in the retail stores that cater for the domestic sewing market.
We do not have a price list that we distribute. You can however contact us and we will gladly provide you with pricing on the specific product that you require.

One of our customer service team members will process your order and a proforma invoice will be emailed to you. Once we receive a proof of payment or the funds have cleared into our account, your order will be dispatched. Depending on where you are situated in the country will determine when you receive your order. The longest it will take (ie outlying regions via courier) is 3 days.
You can do an EFT or cash deposit. The banking details can be found on the proforma invoice that will be emailed to you. If you are in Cape Town, you can come to our offices where we have direct payment facilities.

We deliver country-wide and also cross-border to other Southern African countries, such as Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Angola, Swaziland, Lesotho etc. Some deliveries are free of charge, subject to a minimum order value being taken.
